A collection of dedicated playing fields, Oxenham Park has an important association with the Toombul District Cricket Club, the Mayne Tigers Junior Australian Football Club and the Toombul Croquet Club. Accommodating the Nundah Golden Years Centre, the Park has an important association with the Northern Suburbs District Senior Citizens.
The well-tended array of croquet playing greens with associated clubhouse and green side seating and the fenced cricket oval with associated sightscreens and spectator stand, together with the prominent perimeter stands of eucalypts and other vegetation form an important visual element in the streetscape. Named for the Oxenham family the Park is important in recognising the contribution of the family to the district and to cricket in Brisbane.
Goodstart Early Learning Nundah caters for children from the ages of six weeks to five years. Our child care centre has a large car park for families to use as well as plenty of on-street parking, and is easily accessible by public transport. Our educators are friendly, helpful, and dedicated to providing the highest possible level of education and care.
We welcome input from families to allow us to further individualise and tailor our learning programs for each child. Our child care centre has an open door policy, and we encourage both current and prospective parents to come and visit the centre. We look forward to meeting you and your family.
Nundah Library is located at 1 Bage Street in Nundah. The Nundah Library features a variety of facilities and services, as well as plenty of activities and events. This library is also wheelchair accessible and has community meeting rooms available for hire, including access to a kitchenette.
Located on the North-side of Brisbane, Wavell Squash Centre provides 9 regulation courts in one convenient location. We have been a centre since 1953 starting with courts 1,2,3 which are the first 3 courts you see. Since then we built 6 squash courts and even offer a Brisbane only Private court away from then hustle and bustle of the main centre.
We are a proud club, we have been around a long time and are investing in being around fora lot longer! We the FIRST club in Australia to go to an Ultra Violet set up which allows for Glow in the Dark Squash, Tables Tennis, Racquetball, Parties and Functions! The future has never looked so bright, we will not stop in our pursuit of squash global domination!
